DO GOOD FOR OTHERS

Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Saint Life collects, uses, and protects personal information. Saint Life is a Christian community platform. Some information you provide relates to religious/community affiliation, which UK data-protection law treats as sensitive (special-category) personal data.

A fuller product policy pack (eligibility, visibility matrix, verification retention) is maintained for the build; this page is the member-facing summary.

Information we collect

When you register we collect your name, email address, location details you choose to provide (such as country, city or locality), and profile information you add. We may store quiz activity, group/event participation, verification outcomes, and community activity needed to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Religious and community affiliation

Joining as a member and using Christian-member features necessarily reveals a religious/community affiliation to Saint Life. Depending on the visibility choices you make, some of that information may also be visible to other members, to your confirmed church leaders, or (if you choose) publicly.

At signup we will ask you to confirm that you are joining as a Christian / for Christian community participation on this platform, and that you are 16 or over.

Visibility choices

Important profile fields are designed with explicit visibility levels, for example: public; verified members; your confirmed church; church leaders only; or only you. Defaults favour privacy for contact details, exact address, and prayer/help content. Church membership rolls are never published automatically.

Prayer and practical help

Prayer and help requests are member-scoped by default and are not intended as search-engine content. Please avoid posting another person’s medical, family or private details without their permission.

Verification documents

Where you upload documents for verification (for example business identity checks), we aim to retain the verification result and delete the source file after a defined retention period wherever practical. We do not collect Unique Taxpayer References (UTR).

Children

Member accounts are for people aged 16 and over. That is so young business owners and members are not locked out; it is not because the site contains adult content. Churches may still publish public family or youth events without creating under-16 social profiles on Saint Life.

How we use information

We use your information to operate the platform, run verification and safety processes, connect members with local community features, and improve the service. Platform administrators may access account data where needed for support, safety, or legal compliance.
